My Story
Born in 1955, I came from an old set of values and parents that appreciated them. Later, the Vietnam Era left a large impact on my philosophy. After we lost that war, few Americans realized they had to kick the Chinese out later. Today, the Vietnamese have become great supporters, both as American citizens, and from abroad. Do we really have to have wars to get there?
For those reasons, I have become passionate about the American Dream and setting an example for others around the world.
Perhaps that’s why I also support the now “out of fashion" American oak furniture. It's a beautiful hard wood that defies damage and with a little work, is easily restored to its natural grainy original finish. It’s a beautiful working wood, not to be easily discarded for furniture made in China, but having a Swedish label slapped onto it. I also like the concept of bamboo, rattan, and wicker, for similar reasons.
A lot of attractive and affordable commercial art is also produced in China for pennies on the dollar. My reselling it repurposes the money that you might have inadvertently spent supporting Chinese manufacturing and government projects when buying new from them. This is a giant step in an patriotic direction.
Feel free to make reasonable offers and know that your money is going towards good things. Sadly, I can’t take my inventory with me to Hawaii. Therefore, at this late stage of my life, I must get rid of everything, so my sweetheart and I can finally be together.
